Chasing Rainbows

-I wrote this one in tiny bits during the past 2 months... I'm not sure what emotion does it really bring out, as this was written at random times! Hope you all like it!- 

Empty skies with rays of hope

Moony lands with stars of snow

I'm floating away to a dreamy world

To elegant lands with eternal glow!

Bedazed by a dream

I'm drifting away

Chasing the impossible

I'm running away

Hanging on to a flimsy hope

Building up a delusive fore

Gazing at my bright blue sky

I place my faith, up very high

Huge waves of reality, overflow

Faces of mere misery are the only show!

Snowy stars, melt away

Rays of hope, drift away

While chasing rainbows of dreamy lands

I'm awakened by destiny's plans

Each day ends with a savage reality

Covering my sky with a darker actuality!

There are glad streets someplace, I know

There is a world where fancy snows

There are glowing stars with eternal beam,

This world is mine, and I only dream...

haha! Saying hello to no readers right now!

I'm sure I'll have quite a few soon ;)

There's always an inspiration or a thought that gets me writing... sometimes, it's just a random insight !

Its funny how varying moods give a whole new edge to any topic!

So well, I felt the need to start blogging when I realized how much the opinions that feel so right in my head, need to be said out loud! Words are the soft musical chords...arranged & re-arranged for different bursts of emotions! [really!]
