Melody Of Rain

I hear the music
That’s pouring down
Right from above
To the wet ground

I light the candles
Raise my windows
And I stare at that sky
That's opened its doors

I feel the drops on my skin
Like pearls of a rainy night
I feel the silky cool breeze
That embraces me so tight

For a moment in this rain
I feel like I'm flying
A life with no pain
Feels like I'm forever smiling

Lying on my bed
I listen to the sound
Falling drop by drop
So pure and unbound

Sometimes I wonder
Is it a blessing from the sky
Or tears of a lonely night
That are gushing from up high

Whatever it may be
Its a beautiful melody
Magical and beautiful
That's what it seems to me
